Northern Girl (a song) Sept 76

Northern girl, your face looks so dull
That -
In contrast , it makes your eyes look bright.
Northern girl, you are so small-
That -
In contrast, it makes me feel tall.
Northern girl, your friends are so plain
That-
In contrast , it makes you beautiful.

Northern girl, the sky is so gray
That-
in contrast , you seem to be smiling
Northern girl, as you look out
Through your eyes,
There's no need to despise
The world for what it's done.
Northern girl, do you realize,
The future's still to come?
Northern girl -
Don't look away,
They say tomorrow is another day.
When we'll sit out beneath the stars,
And watch the cosmos play.

Song 76

Empty words are all you ever left me with,
Empty sentences , your life.
Empty rooms in which you lived in,
Corrupted promises, your vice.
Empty roads , that we both walked down,
Hollow places we never stopped.
I'm missing kisses you never gave to me,
With every letter I don't write.
Empty rows of wooden houses by the sea,
Deserted beaches in he sun.
Stranded shellfish where the tides gone out,
Waiting for the waves to come.

Forever miss,  what you're changing in my life,
Forget you ever knew.
